Marriage is a beloved covenant, designed and ordained by God. ‘His Good’ Thing is a ministry birthed from ‘Apple of His Eye’ Women’s Ministry, dedicated to building, strengthening, and restoring marriages according to God’s standard. This ministry was birthed to remind wives of the favor and blessing they bring into their marriages when they walk in obedience and reverence to God.

God’s Order in Marriage

In a world that distorts the meaning of marriage, His Good Thing stands on the unchanging truth of Scripture “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Matthew 19:6 (AMP) This ministry strives to equip wives on the importance of, honoring their husbands and supporting them as they lead their households. As 1 Peter 3:1-2 teaches, a wife’s godly conduct and respect for her husband can be a powerful testimony that strengthens the marriage and draws the husband closer to God.

Restoring and Strengthening Marriages

During the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, families faced unprecedented challenges, exposing weaknesses in many marriages. With increased stress, uncertainty, and isolation, the need for Godly counsel became more urgent than ever. Many women found themselves struggling with conflict, disconnection, and sense of purpose in their roles as wives. In response, His Good Thing took a bold step forward, committing to offering biblical wisdom, encouragement, and practical guidance for women seeking to honor God in their marriages.

Walking in God’s Design for Marriage

God calls husbands to lead with love and Christlike sacrifice, as stated in Ephesians 5:23, and He calls wives to respect and support their husbands. Respect is not about weakness – It is about strength in submission, wisdom in action, and faith. When a wife honors her husband as unto the Lord, she creates an atmosphere for her marriage to flourish not by love alone, but also in unity.

A Ministry of Purpose and Power

His Good Thing’s goal is to remind every woman – Whether newly engaged, preparing for marriage, or already walking in covenant – That she is a vessel of God’s favor in her husband’s life. Through prayer, mentorship, and biblical teaching, we equip women to stand firm in faith, rooted in wisdom, and empowered by love.
