The Story of Bethesda Ministries: A Legacy of Healing, Hope, and Purpose

In 2008, a vision was revealed—a glimpse into a ministry that would break through barriers, transcend traditions, and meet people in the depths of their need with the transformative power of Jesus Christ. It took years of prayer and preparation before the foundation would be laid. In February of 2024, that vision came to life with the official establishment of Bethesda Ministries.

Bethesda Ministries is rooted in the scripture John 5:1–14, where Jesus encounters a man at the Pool of Bethesda. There, amidst a multitude of the broken and waiting, Jesus asked the question that still echoes today: “Do you want to be made well?” This question is central to the mission and purpose of Bethesda Ministries—to invite all people into the healing, wholeness, and newness of life that only Christ can provide.

Welcome to Bethesda—where lives are changed, purpose is discovered, and faith comes alive.

Our Mission

Bethesda Ministries exists to share the transformative Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and empower believers to live out their faith with purpose—impacting lives and communities for the Kingdom of God.

Our Vision

Bethesda Ministries exists to ignite spiritual transformation and inspire a vibrant community of believers rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through discipleship, missions, and empowerment, we equip individuals to live out their faith boldly—creating lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Ideals

Bethesda Ministries is not bound by cultural norms, societal barriers, or religious traditions. It is a ministry marked by spiritual relevance, yet one that refuses to compromise the truth of the Gospel. In a world often entangled in confusion and conformity, Bethesda stands as a bold and compassionate voice calling people back to authentic, Spirit-led living.

At its core, Bethesda is a discipleship-driven ministry, committed to empowering and equipping believers to discover their God-given purpose and understand their role in His work on earth. It is not enough to simply believe; we must also become. At Bethesda, believers are nurtured, challenged, and released to walk in purpose—spiritually, practically, and missionally.

Our work is not confined to the four walls of a building. Bethesda Ministries is passionately engaged in local missions, seeking to impact our communities through tangible acts of love and service. We are committed to meeting people right where they are, just as Jesus did—whether in brokenness, doubt, or despair—and helping them experience the abundant, new life that comes through a relationship with Him.

Everything we do is rooted in love—love for God and love for people. This is not just a philosophy; it’s a lifestyle. Bethesda is a community where faith is not only preached but also lived out daily in visible, practical ways. Whether through outreach, discipleship, or compassionate care, the mission is clear: to make Jesus known by being His hands and feet in the world.
